Working with Trish was a delight! She asked excellent questions to help identify the style we liked and provided some fantastic options. We had such a great experience working with Trish on our home design. She was incredibly helpful, proactive, and genuinely invested in helping us bring our slightly unconventional ideas to life. She helped us all the way from furniture selection, choosing colour palletes, layout to decoration and styling, she worked closely with us every step of the way.

What really stood out was how thorough she was in getting to know us and what we actually wanted — she really listened, but also wasn’t afraid to challenge us (in a good way!) when something could be improved. That balance made a huge difference to the final result.

Trish was also super easy to contact and keep in touch with, and unlike many “virtual” designers, she actually came to the house a few times to make sure everything was heading in the right direction. We couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out — highly recommend!

I was a little reticent to contact an interior designer as I wanted advice only not a full apartment design - I was worried that my job was too small. From the first point of contact, Trish (Grace Interior Designs) understood the level of commitment and scope of the request. Her deep knowledge was shared openly and she took the time I needed to identify my personal style so I could apply it to our new apartment. Trish is a cordial, gracious and well qualified interior designer. She understood our aesthetic sensibility before proceeding on our home renovation and made countless indispensable design decisions to cohere with the style and age of the house. Her specifications document is user friendly for the both the builder and client with links to products and space to insert opinions. She always answered my phone calls and emails promptly, for which I was immensely grateful. Additionally, Trish charges a reasonable rate and generously shares trade discounts. I also recommend her builder, Brad Smit of Crafted Constructions.
Trish and Brad conducted a beneficial final walk-through and we all assumed I had understood everything but, being me, I hadn’t. Thus, I recommend that future lay clients, who are rookies like me, consider paying for an extra two hours for a longer and more comprehensive walk-though to ensure that you fully understand the dimensions prior to the contracts being drawn up. Trish and Brad charge reasonable rates, and this request could save you from having to pore over so many dimension documents embedded in the contracts later. Moreover, it would be disadvantageous and time-consuming for all involved to ask for changes after receiving the final dimensions in the contracts, though you can do so. All told, we wholeheartedly recommend Trish. We absolutely love our updated and repaired house and will always be grateful for the essential role she played in such a big project. The ceiling-high cabinetry in the kitchen is gorgeous. The floors and countless fixtures are lovely and the backsplash that Trish chose is unique and beautiful. She produced a gorgeous laundry and two stunning bathrooms and properly advised on all spaces. Every cent spent on her expertise was worth it. Thank you Trish.

Trish was absolutely amazing. I was sceptical when my wife suggested the idea of using an interior designer but it’s one of the best decision we made. The process has challenged and enriched us. Trish helped us understand our varied tastes and find beautiful ideas that fused our seemingly very different ideas. Like the name of her business, Grace Interior Designs, we feel like there’s a lot of grace in the special touches Trish has given our spaces.

Our home now has spaces we truly enjoy - without feeling bored despite becoming familiar with the new designs. It feels like an extension of us and we owe this to Trish.

First Meeting

Implementation

We arrange a suitable time to meet to get to know you and view the space, it’s also a good opportunity for you to ensure we click and are on the same page. We discuss your ideas and goals and understand your vision, following this first meeting we send you a fixed fee quote for your consideration.

Once we start working together officially, we start the project with a Brief, which is a comprehensive question and answer session to discuss your aesthetic vision, functionality, colours and so on.

The next stage of the process is concept development where we research, develop and present to you a moodboard, in response to your brief, which is a visual representation of what your space will look like, there is plenty of opportunity for you to give us feedback at this stage.

During this stage of the process we bring your vision to life to create an amazing space for you to enjoy.
