Founded by Trish Khoury, Grace Interior Designs was established in 2013, after completing my qualifications with the Interior Design Institute London, marking my transition from a successful career in corporate fundraising to the field of interior design. My years spent working with major not-for-profit organisations in Melbourne and London provided me with a sophisticated toolkit in strategic communication and project collaboration. I apply this professional rigour to every project, ensuring that my clients’ goals are met with clarity, transparency, and a focus on high-quality outcomes.

European Influence, Melbourne Expertise

In 2023 I undertook a sabbatical in Barcelona, where I studied Modernist architecture and the artistry of Spanish craftsmanship. This experience deepened my understanding of how historical context and external environments shape our internal spaces. I bring this European styling influence to my work in Melbourne, Australia. With a particular focus on modernising dated homes and creating functional commercial interiors that stand the test of time.

You can see this European design sensibility in my Melbourne projects, particularly home renovations involving interior styling, residential extensions, floor plan changes, and kitchen and bathroom renovations. This expertise extends to hospitality interiors, creating character-filled, contemporary functionality for local cafes, bars, and restaurants. Hospitality spaces that focus on the customer experience as well as the bottom line. Continuous Evolution: Research & Authorship

In 2026, I intentionally stepped back from active project management to focus on design literature and research. During this period, I successfully wrote and published a book on apartment living in Australia. While completing a comprehensive guide on kitchen renovation strategies, slated for publication in 2027. I also attended a writer’s retreat in Greece to begin extensive research on my next project exploring global design patterns. This dedication to constant learning ensures that the insights I bring to my Melbourne clients are informed by international movements and definitive industry expertise.
