Modern French Dining
Interior design has become very important with COVID19 restrictions as many of us are using our dining areas for everything other than dining which challenges the traditional functionality of this space.
I’ve seen and heard people using their dining tables for work, school and games. So maybe it’s time to update your dining room and make it more beautiful but no less multi functional, here’s some inspiration with a Modern French dining moodboard, a bit classic with a bit more twist.
The focal pieces I have chosen for this concept are the grey wash Louis XV dining table and the Teira dining chair. With the dining table it has classic curved legs but the grey wash colour updates this piece. Although a classic French colour scheme is mostly beige, blue, ivory with a gold accent, I’ve used the Teira dining chair in black to add some drama and dynamism to the concept.

My favourite pieces in this moodboard are the Cumulus linen pendant lights and the Tribal Canvas Art. Linen is classic in French styling but the tribal art works with the black dining chairs to create interest and depth.
