Industrial Scandinavian Dining Room
There’s no doubt about the allure of Scandinavian design, I think people love it because of its neutral colour palette, focus on warm wood materials and other natural textures such as cotton and linen. But Industrial style is also really popular, I think people love the distressed nature of this style and sense of nostalgia.
Our Industrial Scandi dining room concept, combines these styles to create a really interesting room, that you could easily replicate. The focal piece is the Alta dining table which features a concrete top. This is such a beautiful yet durable piece for family dinners.
I’ve added an upholstered dining chair in the Paraggi piece, to add a soft line and the curved back screams comfort. It comes in an array of typical Scandi colours such as grey, which you might prefer for durability and functionality.
It’s so popular to have a combo of seats around a dining table so I’ve include the Ninentte bench in natural and for extra storage the Xaviar sideboard. It’s really subtle but I love the repeated vertical line in this piece and in the pendant light cords.
Clients like working with an interior designer for the risk factor, they want unusual pieces they would not choose themselves, that’s why I love the Tibery pendant light and it works so well as an industrial piece in this concept.
I love black, so I found some black tableware and paired this with gold and black cutlery which is offset by the abstract print which has similar colours and tones.
