Mid Century Home Office
Given our need to work from home due to COVID19 this home office concept has a Mid Century Modern vibe, a bit masculine and very classy. In my last post, I provided tips on how to work from home successfully which includes a beautiful yet highly functioning and ergonomic desk and chair combo.
Focal Pieces
For this concept I was looking for a timber desk in a mid tone and found the Cuadrado desk which is substantial without being bulky, I particularly like the slim line legs.
The other key piece is the replica Eames chair, admittedly I’m not a fan of replica pieces but there was no other suitable option, it was a no brainer to add this chair with the Cuadrado desk.
Storage
Instead of a traditional storage option for a home office such as a book shelf, I added the Illina sideboard instead. You could easily store office essential in this piece as well as house a cheeky bottle of whisky a la Mad Men.
Accessories
I really wanted a pop of colour in this concept and I love the Calm Wall Clock in Turquoise for this purpose. The Clean Lined Canvas Print is also very typical of the period and works really well in terms of colour, line and pattern in this concept.
